'Canyon Sunset I'

is the latest addition to my 'canyons and southwest landscapes' series of large original oils. Like most in the series, 'Canyon Sunset I' is an expressionist work with emphasis on the painting's surface, color, and design, painted in my Arizona studio with the use of both color- noted drawings done and photos taken at locations in the American southwest. It is painted with Utrecht best oils on a triple primed gesso prepared hardboard. The painting measures 36"x 41 inches - 39"x 44" overall with the free hardwood frame, as shown, included with purchase.
